Extended Emergency Breathing Protection for Komoto Copper Company (KCC)

Kamoto Copper Company (KCC), a major copper and cobalt producer in the DRC, partnered with MineARC Systems to extend emergency breathing protection for miners in remote underground zones, where evacuation distances exceeded 750 metres. The result? KCC’s workforce transitioned from 25-minute self-rescuers to the 60-minute DEZEGA CARBO 60, supported by full on-site training and French-language resources. The CARBO 60s more than doubled breathing duration while being lighter and more comfortable to carry.
